As an iPhone owner, you have a few options for setting up remote viewing. Presence by People Power is a jack-of-all-trades automation app that offers free connectivity to another iOS device for viewing, but no video recording or other advanced technology. The free version of the app lets you view a live stream of your monitored area, and will push notifications when something happens nearby. In-app purchases for Presence Pro Video increase your cloud storage, improve video quality, and enable longer video recordings in the event your phone loses its internet connection.
iMotion HD is both time-lapse and slow motion video app for your iPhone 5 or earlier. The app lets you easily shoot HD 775 videos and export them to your YouTube channel.

I was going to write a post just looking at the Seek Thermal unit. However, since I previously looked at the FLIR One I guess everyone wants a comparison. Here you go.
For the temperature readings, the sensor can detect values from -95°C to 885°C. Oh, a quick reminder about emissivity. The IR camera can see things through two different mechanisms. It could see the light that an object emits from it's temperature (this is what you want). However, it could also see things because of reflected IR light. Different materials reflect more IR light, this reflection is expressed with the emissivity coefficient. A coefficient of would mean that no IR light is reflected and a 5 would be an object that reflects all IR light.
The app uses your phone's camera to scan printed documents, receipts, business cards and even words and doodles on a whiteboard. When you finish a scan, CamScanner analyzes the content of the image to automatically organize everything by type. That means, all of your business card scans are saved in one folder, while documents go in another. As an added bonus, the app also lets you create scans from photos you've previously taken. Most importantly, the scan quality is stellar, though your mileage may vary by your phone's camera.
